About social entrepreneurship
We are surrounded by many talented people. We contribute to their professional fulfillment in the format of social entrepreneurship. Many socially oriented companies have become our partners on a long-term basis, together with them we try to contribute to solving important social issues. This is a business that is built by people with a difficult fate, but they are strong enough to realize their talent, turning it into their life's work. It is important for us that every item in the hotel has its own history and value and is not impersonal. Instead of purchasing goods from unknown factories located at a great distance from Kazan, we prefer to cooperate with social entrepreneurship, thus giving work to those who really need it and whose product is unique and able to give not only emotions, but also to acquire special meaning.

“Chudo mamy” (“Wonder moms”)
The key idea of the project is to provide jobs for mothers of young children who are in a difficult life situation, who do not have the opportunity to work full–time.

"Solntse Vnutri" (“The Sun is Inside”)
An inclusive project from Kazan, including tourism, an accessible environment, performances and exhibitions. The main goal of the project is to create real and effective practices of social and labor adaptation of people with disabilities.

"Anton tut ryadom" (“Anton's Right Here”)
The rich history of the hotel and the unusual style were surprisingly reflected in the souvenirs of the fund for support of people with autism “Anton's Right Here”. All the products are made by adults, members of the foundation, they are unique, made specially for TASIGO and are presented on our souvenir showcase. We want our guests to take away valuable souvenirs that remind them of their time spent in TASIGO. We have toys – symbols of the hotel, notebooks, shoppers, bright ceramics from the masters of the “Anton's Right Here” foundation. This is a vivid example of social entrepreneurship and successfully established business processes. We want the number of such projects to grow, and we are ready to support local initiatives.
Knitted toys by Sozdalos brand
A knitted frog became a symbol of cosiness and warmth of TASIGO. Ekaterina, the creator of Sozdalos, who lives with muscular dystrophy, has found her talent in knitting toys, each with a unique character. The frog has had time to ‘visit’ all the hotel's iconic locations: tasted the hotel's signature honeydew, had a cocktail in the bar, enjoyed a massage in the SPA. Today it lives on the NEO showcase, continuing to delight guests.
Doll Alsu by masteress Railya
The Alsu Doll, inspired by Marina Avdeeva's "Secrets of the House on the Hill," was created by the talented craftswoman Railya. Although she has used a wheelchair since childhood, Railya leads a full and vibrant life, dedicating herself to creativity and personal growth.
Her journey into crocheting began in 2016 with baby booties, evolving into a passion for making unique toys. Each of her creations is filled with warmth and love, designed to bring joy and touch the hearts of those who hold them.

TASIGO's ‘Special Beauty’ exhibition opens up a world of angels created by Polina Varina.
Polina is an unusual artist, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. She has certain difficulties in communicating with people, but her potential is revealed in beautiful paintings with angels depicted on them.When Polina and her mum Natalia and teacher-mentor Olga Vasilieva were choosing the main composition for the paintings, they selected compositions with certain algorithms of application. To draw an angel is easier than, for example, to draw people. Polina usually starts her paintings with a background, then moves on to the ‘dress’, then draws the wings, then draws the head and finally completes the image with a halo. Some of her paintings are complemented with neat colours, and her work is embodied in elegant and varied combinations of colours, giving each painting its own unique style.
Inspired by folkloric imagery, Pauline's work is filled with tenderness and deep symbolism. We are proud to support such talented artists, helping them to fulfil their potential.
Polina has recently finished grade 9 at a remedial school and has a great future ahead of her, we want our guests to be able to enjoy her paintings and help this young artist develop further and delight us with her work.
“Chudo mamy” (“Wonder moms”)
This is the first socio-entrepreneurial project in Kazan we started our cooperation with. The key idea of the project is to provide jobs for mothers of young children who are in a difficult life situation, who do not have the opportunity to work full–time. The ideologist and manager of the project has opened a small sewing production where mothers can work for several hours while their children are in the playroom. Employees of the social project “Wonder moms” sew reusable alternatives to disposable items for TASIGO hotels in Kazan: aprons and functional bags for gardeners, reusable eco–bags in which guests can carry things to the laundry for washing, laundry bags - an alternative to large plastic bags for unloading dirty laundry, bags for recyclables, cases for additional pillows as an alternative to plastic bags for storage, bags for hair dryers. Everything that was disposable and made of plastic was made by the project staff from eco-friendly materials and has a nice design. Together we develop innovative ideas for new orders. This is how we create objects at the intersection of eco-friendly and social development.
“Bumagka.dusha”
It's not just paper made from paper. It's conscious, unique and environmentally friendly. Hand-cast paper can be used to make almost all printed products - business cards, postcards, notepads. TASIGO regularly has projects made from recycled paper. These include certificates, postcards and much more.
"Solntse Vnutri" (“The Sun is Inside”)
An inclusive project from Kazan, including tourism, an accessible environment, performances and exhibitions. The main goal of the project is to create real and effective practices of social and labor adaptation of people with disabilities. The foundation's members have made covers for guest books and ceramic mugs for the My Cup Please campaign (we provide a 15% discount for guests who have refused disposable cups "to go" and take their drinks away in reusable containers). According to sanitary standards, we cannot pour drinks into someone else's containers, therefore, for convenience, we have developed mugs with a spout so that it is convenient for bartenders to make coffee in them, and for guests to pour into their cups. Socks with the Tatar national ornament, invented by the member of the Alsou Foundation, who has been using a wheelchair since childhood, are presented in a souvenir showcase.
Cooperation with unique masters
Social entrepreneurship can develop in a very specific way, not only cooperating with funds or projects, but even with a separate master. We started cooperation with the carpenter-furniture maker Alexander, the winner of the national championship of professional skills among people with disabilities in the competence of "Wood carving". Specially for TASIGO, wooden coasters for drinks, glasses for storing pens in the bar and at the reception, wooden pencil cases for children have already been made. All products are of high quality, made of oak and decorated with the engraving STAY IN HARMONY. The peculiarity of all the products made by Alexander is that only fallen branches or trees cut down according to the instructions of the administrations of parks and squares of the city of Kazan are used for its manufacture. After the procedures prescribed by the Ministry of Ecology, the raw materials are sent to Alexander. The tree gets a second life and does not go to the landfill. This is a great example of the individual master's personal contribution to the preservation of the environment. Such a form of cooperation is very important for us, because by choosing such masters, we invest in the development of inclusive projects.
